World Architecture Festival (World Architects Festival, WAF) was held again in Barcelona Spain. In addition to holding seminars with speakers from around the world, this festival is worthy of record, because the scene of the exchange of ideas and thoughts about 1,000 architects from over 80 countries worldwide.

In the seminar programs, WAF brings no fewer than 26 speakers famous architects and designers from around the world, including David Chipperfield of England, Arata Isozaki of Japan, Ng Lang from Singapore, Josep Anton Acebillo from Spain, Jo Noero from South Africa, and still many more some famous architects such as IBON Areso, Paul Baker, James Austin, Phillip Bernstein, Andrew Grant, Laurent-Paul Robert, Peter Chappel, and Mary Bowman.

In addition to seminars, WAF also held a design competition for architects and for students. For this year, there are 77 design works from 25 countries and has selected 5 winners who get free tickets to attend this annual grand festival.

There is also a specific exhibition with the theme “Transformation”, an exhibition which will show how the environment can be transformed and designed the building with a complex combination of commitment from the client, the architectural imagination, technological development, and management / professional teamwork.

Some points that can be learned from the exhibition theme of this transformation is how climate change is addressed and managed in environments that already exist, how social change is included in the building and a new place, and how creative planning and architecture that can help change and economic improvement in the environment around them.
This prestigious event has the support of many parties, among which are Autodesk, Hewlett-Packard, and Grohe. For Grohe itself, participation in the WAF in 2010 was the third time.

Grohe itself now exist in approximately 130 countries and has 6 production base. Three are in Germany and in Asia, Thailand became the basis of production.
