Bright, colorful motifs are great when your kid is still a kid, but remember, they will grow up and grow out of it. Beds in natural or darker finishes will transition nicely from child to teen.

Desks with hutches attached are another way to save desk and dresser space, while armoires and bookcase headboards are also clever ways of storing your child’s stuff.
